I'm home!

只今(ただいま)、帰(かえ)りました。

I'm home now.

玄関(げんかん)を開(あ)けて「只今(ただいま)」と言(い)った。

I opened the front door and said, 'I'm home.'

子(こ)どもが大(おお)きな声(こえ)で「只今(ただいま)!」と叫(さけ)びながら走(はし)ってきた。

The child came running in, shouting, 'I'm home!'

疲(つか)れていたので、「只今(ただいま)」も言(い)わずにソファに倒(たお)れ込(こ)んだ。

I was so tired that I collapsed onto the sofa without even saying 'I'm home.'
