彼(かれ)は彼(かれ)女に恥をかかされた。

He was humiliated by her.

彼(かれ)はうそをついて恥をかいた。

He disgraced himself by telling a lie.

恥をかくぐらいなら死んだほうがましだ。

I would rather die than disgrace myself.
